Fantastically, Steve heard the gig replayed to him the following morning on the tour bus heading to Leeds.... It sounded so good that he approved the first three tracks of the show for release via the web..... download and hear for yourself!

Band line up:

Steve Hackett - Guitars
Roger King - Keyboards
Terry Gregory - Bass guitar
Gary O’Toole - Drums
Rob Townsend - Sax and Flute

Ben Fenner (Steve's Sound Engineer) writes: these are recordings made of the output of my desk at the gig, ie what you are hearing are the mixes that were sent to the PA on the night. I have pumped them up a little to put them on a similar footing to commercially available tracks level wise, but they are not mixes of multitrack recordings of the concert, and therefore they reflect exactly what was going on at the time, warts and all. The balance may not be perfect at all times for a home stereo, but coming out of the PA in Wolverhampton it sounded damn good and very exciting, and I think the visceral nature of the recording captures the essence of the moment!
